My Love Bucket Is Full
I'm feeling a bit rusty, and it's not from our recent rain. It's been so long since my last blog, I'm not sure what to say, except a big fat juicy thank you to all my visitors during "Open Studio Tour" last weekend. It was a raving mad crazy time, and I had a blast. I hope you did too. Those of you that were crazy enough to enter the world of creation that I call my life, understand why I haven't blogged in a few weeks. I was busy transforming my home into a complete retail space. I know it looks like a lot of work, but I really enjoy doing this. My family on the other hand, are not to crazy about it. They haven't been able to eat from a table top in over a week. I also put blue painters tape across the guest bathroom after cleaning it to keep them out. They never seem to remember that there are two other bathrooms in the house they can use. Thanks again to you that came to my studio, for your kind words, love, and support. Thanks also to Sharon for your thoughtful letter and to Mark and Karen for the angel pictures. My love bucket is full. It's people like you, that keep people like me, going. I'm still in "open studio" mode. We are open for encore weekend the 23rd and 24th, if you feel like dropping by. I might even pull the blue tape off the bathroom door for you.
PS: Congratulations to "onlyincambodia" for winning the comment drawing on my last post.

So happy to hear the tour went well with your home as the cute boutique! Hope this weekend is successful too.
ReplyDeleteTo a successful weekend! Place looks great!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your Open Studio today.
ReplyDeleteIt's bright and sunny out, great day for a drive. Hope it's a successful day!
A friend and I came by yesterday. Your work, your daughter's work, and your place were at least as wonderful as last year. I'm inclined to say it was better. If for no other reason than all the shapes and colors and designs are still fresh in my mind. I wouldn't miss seeing you at Open Studios, and am thoroughly looking forward to your classes! Thanks for a great start to a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI'm the friend-of-Gianna. I'm so glad we both got to your Encore Weekend. You are fun and inspiring and refreshing. Just what a beat-up heart needed here at the end of October. Thank you so much! I, too, am looking forward to your classes.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing Cindy! The blue painters tape comment made me laugh...I may even use that idea in my home!!!! I am so bummed that I had to work and didn't get to see your beautiful creations! See you soon - love, Denise
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy--
ReplyDeleteJust a reminder that I really, really, want to take your classes in December. We'll be away from November 5 to 26. I left my email address on your mailing list. So just count me in! And, I hope you get a presence on facebook, too.
Sally
Hi Sally, Have a great trip. I'm trying to get into the whole facebook thing. A great friend of mine spent most of a day helping me get my online present out there. I had so much technical info in my head, I'm surprised it didn't explode. I just need a refresher course. Hope to get that together soon. Thanks Cindy
